I’ve been drawing a lot but not posting a lot so here are some consolation cool-down sketches I will look at in the morning and promptly go oh for the love of god I actually put this out into the public what’s wrong with you ruth?

Tried to draw something that doesn’t look cartoony, turns out, THAT’S a bad idea!
Man! I have had a truly volatile two weeks or so, so please excuse the unfinished mess and the lack of originality and the shameless boy on boy, herp, whooooops. Maybe I shouldn’t even post these, but if you were interested this is largely what my sketchbook looks like- just psds with layers upon layers of this sort of uninspired stuff. I’m not really ashamed, because I think it looks pretty bad and rough but it’s the sort of shit that needs to get worked through to get to better stuff, which is all sketches are supposed to be, anyway! So you know- never get angry at yourself for drawing stuff that seems purposeless, I suppose, because there’s no such thing, themoreyouknow.gif.
A small sketch dump- that first guy Toni did all the actual work of sketching and I just put on some inks, a lot of these people belong either to her or Claire so, you know, I’m just piggybacking on their good ideas and reaping the benefits, like a massive, parasitic, creeper. Make friends with creative people, guys! You’ll never have to think again.
After all I did get a degree in painting lmao
